Doug Creek has concluded a very successful professional baseball career that has spanned 15 years and 7 Major League teams. During that time, he has had opportunities to fish hot spots across the U.S. and in several other countries. Doug first fell in love with the Tampa Bay area in 1991 when he signed his first pro baseball contract with the St. Louis Cardinals and began Spring Training in St. Petersburg, FL. He moved to the area permanently in 2000 when he joined the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Since then, Doug has honed his skills on the rich fishery that these local waters provide. Being an outdoorsman his whole life, Doug has spent just about every spare moment somewhere up a creek (pardon the pun), floating across a flat, or in the woods in search of his quarry.

This year, Doug will captain a 2007 Century 2202 Bay Boat sponsored by the makers of Red Baron Pizza. During the 2006 season, Doug competed in the FLW Redfish tour.  He also finished in the top 15 in the Professional Tarpon Tournament Series in Boca Grande, FL and finished 4th in the Jim Beam Tarpon Cup Championship.  In 2007, he will again fish in the Professional Tarpon Tournament Series, FLW Redfish tour and the ESPN Redfish Cup with new partner, Captain Mike Anderson

Capt. Doug will also be part of the cast in a new fishing reality show that will be filmed this summer.  If you would like the chance to be on a reality show, book your Tarpon Charter today!

Look for the Red Baron Pizza boat on The Water Channel and the World Fishing Network in Canada.
